Bruce landed in a place that was significantly less wet than he was used to when he activated Caritas' Sanctuary Spell. Less wet and much darker. Fortunately, between a tiny flashlight he always kept in his pocket and, you know, the ability to touch things, he was able to figure out that he was inside a cave.
